Dharmendra | Apr 17 2007

Filling the gap between its previous 2000 and 4000 series, Magellan has come up with the launch of the first two units in the 3000 lineup. The first two models from this lineup are the Maestro 3100 and Maestro 3140, which are claimed to feature AAA TourBook Travel Information, Rapid Routing, Bluetooth and Text-to-Speech.

I don’t find any real advancement in the latest series from Maestro, if anything the Maestro 3000 series might look inferior to the 4000 series however that is just as to screen size. Maestro 3000 series will be integrated with the similar slim body like the 4000 series however will have a 3.5-inch screen. It will make the product lighter and tinier, if that sort of thing is liked by you.

The Maestro 3140 boasts of providing state of the art navigation capabilities, such as AAA TourBook travel info in North America, whereas the Maestro 3100 claims to make available the navigation experience in a price category, affording more drivers the chance of traveling with navigation systems provided.

Both the devices make use of Samsung’s 2443 processor for quick routing.
